Versa 2 won't connect to my new Wi-Fi

I recently moved, and along with my location, my wifi changed (new network). My fitbit recognizes my home wifi, but it insists that it is out of range (even when I am RIGHT next to the router). My internet is WPA, I am logged into it in the Fitbit App, my Versa 2 is synced and on the charger, and yet it refuses to connect. My Fitbit won't let me connect to my music without a wifi connection, and it won't update my location in the weather app without wifi either. Those are my two favorite features! Any ideas?

Edit: I just remembered i am also using a new phone, and unlike my last phone, it is 5G. Does this mean my phone/Versa 2 are incompatible?

Hi there, @Sigy17. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

While reading your post I was wondering if you removed your Versa 2 from your old phone? If your Fitbit device is still connected to your old phone's Bluetooth, please try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.

If the issue with the Wi-Fi persists, please see Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?

Hope that helps.
