I wrote about this issue a few months ago, but eventually resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn’t find a solution. Today I decided to get to the bottom of it, so here’s the problem. I hadn’t used my Versa 2 in a while, and when I tried to connect it, it didn’t work. The device pairs normally, but after entering the code, an error message appears on the screen. At the same time, it somehow still connects to my phone via Bluetooth. When I go to its profile in the app, I’m prompted to update the firmware. I update it, but after a while, the error reappears. I don’t know what to do; I’ve tried everything—I’ve reset the watch to factory settings, removed it from the Bluetooth list, restarted my phone, and uninstalled FitBit—so please help me with this tricky situation.
For reference:
My phone is an iPhone 15.
The Versa 2 firmware version is 6.2.20
