Versa 2 won't resume exercise after pause

When I use the exercise app and choose walk when I pause it and want to resume walking it doesn’t work. I have to end my workout and start another one. How do I continue my walk ? What do I do to continue??

Assuming you are starting from the Exercise App on your wrist, when you Pause, you get a checkered flag at top right, and a right arrow at bottom right.  Checkered flag is to end, arrow is to continue.
