Versa 2 won't turn on

folks, daughter's versa two, 10 months old, seems to have died. i have cleaned the charging contacts and attempted to reset by holding the side button in for 15 seconds and longer. nothing is working. we are at the taking it back to the store we bought it from stage (except it was a Santa gift!!). If anyone has any advice for me, please make a comment below.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

Thanks for coming back to me Ricardo. the Versa 2 fitbit is completely unresponsive. I have tried cleaning the terminals with rubbing alcohol as suggested, i have replaced the original charging dock with a new (genuine) fitbit charging dock, and have attempted several times the restart process of holding down the button and then releasing it. Nothing works. I am currently trying to find the receipts to lodge a warranty claim unless you know of some other step that i could try to get it working again?
