I just don’t understand why Fitbit would design a good looking watch (Versa) with a lot more features (Versa 2), but not adding the Built-In GPS made the Versa 2 useless. it's a nice watch with i purchased, but had to return it because the first day out running it would not connect to GPS, it wasn't until I got done with my run, and got back to my car that i noticed that it only will connect to my phone GPS.
I love my Ionic for that reason, no need to have my phone when running, it has a Built-in-GPS, which is great.
Why design the Versa or Versa 2 and leave out that feature. o
Fitbit needs to step-up its game. The Apple watch is starting to look like the way to go at this point.
Love Fitbit, but when you guys didn’t add Built-In GPS feature to the Versa or Versa 2, I had to take it back. Best watch hand down is still the ionic, until you upgrade the Versa 2 with Built-In GPS.
I would love to upgrade to the Versa 2, but until you add that one feature Built-in-GPS I never upgrade with another Fitbit watch, our next upgrade may just have to be the Apple Watch.
Thank you
Antonio

The Ionic is the only current Fitbit tracker with built in GPS. I suspect the Ionic's replacement will also be the only one with GPS, whenever that happens. I doubt that there is room inside the Versa 2 for GPS without sacrificing some other feature such as longer battery life. Sorry you weren't happy with the Versa 2 but Fitbit never promised you built in GPS in it. People buy the different trackers based on the features and their needs. That's why Fitbit sells more than one type of tracker.
