So I was outside working, got sweaty, and my versa 3 started acting funny (vibrating continuously, screen going between the menu and the Fitbit logo) and then eventually the screen went black while the watch continued to vibrate. And then it stopped. I put it on the charger, nothing happened. While it was acting funny, I tried holding the left button down but it didn't do anything.
Since it's "died", occasionally the Fitbit logo will appear for no reason and then disappear. If I push the left button, there is no vibration and no response. If I hold it down, nothing happens. No restart. Nothing. Screen stays black. My phone can't even connect to it, it's been a couple of hours as of writing this since my phone was last able to find and connect with my versa 3.
Occasionally, the Fitbit logo appears and then disappears but the button remains unresponsive and it won't show the time or a menu or anything.
I'm kind of just waiting for the watch to die so I can charge it and maybe that will reset its brain.
This watch is about a year old. I don't swim with it. My phone is a Samsung S21+. I got this watch as part of a fitness study so I emailed the study that the watch isn't working but I haven't heard back yet.

So, it's randomly started working again. Don't know what that was all about because it wouldn't do anything for 4-5 hours 🤷🏻:male_sign: But it's figured itself out now 🙂
