Whenever I do any exercise, be it a GPS run outside, the treadmill, weight lifting or swimming, the time elapsed for the exercise is always inaccurate to the actual time that it has taken. I know this because I cross reference with a stopclock and apps like Strava and MapMyRun, which all provide the same time as one another except fitbit.
They also provide the same distance covered in my runs, which fitbit always gets wrong. And yes I am making sure GPS is enabled and do not begin the run until it says connected.
Is there anything I can do? It says my app and firmware are up to date and I've turned my devices off and on multiple times but these issues have been ongoing for months now. I am just about at my wits end and ready to buy a different brand that works

When I compare the map of the run on fitbit to strava, it's clear that fitbit gets a very estimated idea of my route. It'll run all over the streets I was on and even through houses, but strava will have it dead accurate to the pavement I was on.

It cannot be a weak GPS issue if other apps have no issue, and that still doesn't explain why fitbit believes say a 30 minute treadmill program to be 31:30 minutes or whatever
