I think one of the most overlooked improvements of the Versa 3 and the Sense is the fact that they use the same charger. I hope this means Fitbit is planning to standardize chargers and they'll stop making new chargers for every new iteration of a watch. The dueling chargers was a little thing that always bugged me. I hope that era is over now.

It would be nice but I doubt it. Only time will tell

It will be hard to make one standard charger when Fitbit has many different shape trackers

Yeah. I didn’t mean one ring to rule them all. I was thinking of smart watches. I think a standard charger would save them design cost and would make life easier for consumers. You’re right it probably won’t happen, but it would be nice.

actually it wouldn't may cost the consumer a dollar or two more but then you wouldn't buy extra chargers each time you purchase a new tracker.
It is not about convenience, the customer or environment. It is about making money.

I absolutely loathe the FitBit Sense charger. It is the worst. It never works, the cable is so short it is horrible. To say I hate this new way of charging is an understatement. The FitBit Versa had sucha wonderful charger. I don't know why it was changed. This new charger is always giving me error messages, and slow charging. It is awful. This is the main reason I will always tell people 'Do not get the sense". You cannot change my mind. Sorry. This is a horrible change. not an advancement.

I have a Versa 3 and I absolutely hate this charger. 99% of the time it gives me the slow charging warning so I have to stand there fiddling with it until it finally stops giving me that message, then I have to make sure to set it down VERY lightly otherwise it'll give me the warning again...and sometimes even then it'll pop up several minutes later.
I get what they were going for and trying to keep them water proof, you can't just stick a USB Type-C on it. But making it less touchy would be important.
