Versa 3 giving lap notifications when using GPS

When you use your phone GPS to track a walk or run you can set it to  announce the distance traveled and time for half mile intervals. But, if you use the Versa 3 GPS the watch will not notify you of anything. Is there a way to have the Versa 3 give this information at specified intervals while using it's GPS?

@Afmakm   This information is available on the Versa 3 screen and you get vibration feedback when you have achieved your "lap". When you choose an exercise, swipe up on the screen.  There is a tiny "^" at the bottom.  Scroll down to Laps and choose Automatic.  Then you set your rule and you can choose from distance, time, and calories.  When you reach your lap, your Versa 3 vibrates.  Your normal three stat screen changes to your lap information and it is there for at least 10 seconds before going back .  You also get all your lap information on the Versa 3 in your on screen exerciser summary at the end of your run/walk/whatever.

There's a few features in the excercise app before you walk or run.. You can set laps according to minutes and calories

That is great. Thank you for the information. The next step is to have the
Versa use it's speaker to tell you like the phone does so you don't have to
be distracted by needing to look at your watch which slows you down for a
bit.

Great stuff here... The sound notification is a brilliant idea. Hope Fitbit is listening.

I already have that, but that is not what I want. I live in a cold climate. With coats gloves etc. There are issues with vibration. 1st. You cannot feel the vibration most of the time. 2nd. If you wanted to read the screen you have to stop, take off your glove, pull your coat sleeve up. Tap the screen a couple of times to get it awake. By time you do all that 10s are long gone and you disrupted the walk. Why not have the option to pair your earbuds to the device and when you finish a lap or you reach a heart rate zone it verbally tells you and gives you your stats? That way you get the information without interrupting your exercise. Even without all the clothing I have to wear when it is -30F it has to be annoying to anyone who is exercising and wants to keep track of their stats so they can push a little harder or realize then need to lighten up a bit
