Versa 3 issues

I’ve done all you suggest.

 

I’ve had 2 Fitbit watches since 2016 and both were great. However I just received the Versa 3 as a birthday gift and I’m having issues.
1) it won’t stay attached to the magnetic charger. I have to carefully balance the watch on the charger or it falls off.
2) it won’t vibrate for any notifications. It did the first day but not since.
3) I can’t seem to get rid of the “set up wallet” app. Very irritating and I don’t plan to use that feature.

I’ve followed the advice from chat support but nothing works. Chat sent me a new charger but I had the same problem.

Any savvy users had these issues? I requested a return from Amazon but I’d like to know if it’s user error before I return it.
