Versa 3 not showing notifications

New Versa 3 wont show calls or text on android. I chose the messaging app and email app. It shows sync and shows correct steps

Hi @wifey11122  - did you try swiping the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and check that neither sleep nor do not disturb icons are turned on?

@wifey11122 - thanks, for info there seems to be a general problem with the latest version of the Fitbit App affecting messages not coming.

Same here no notifications coming through to my versa. I kindnof figured it was to do with the update. 

Do you know when it will be fixed?

Someone please answer...I cannot get calls, messages, emails on my Versa 3.  Been with customer on chat and on phone.  Received two emails telling me to try different thanks...nothing works.  Getting very frustrated.  Help!!!

@Lickskillet  - it's a fault with the latest Fitbit App version.

Does FITBIT know about it?  Is it being fixed?  What is the solution?  I paid for something that doesn't work the way it was advertised....they should advertise it if they know it wont work the way it should.

Same here. Get calls and no notifications. Tried everything, even erased app and hard reset versa 3. No dice. Contemplating a new watch from a company with devices that work now. Fitbit, work it out! Pitter, Patter!

I don't have either one selected.  Mine worked until last week, 7/30/22.

This is ridiculous.  I have been trying to figure out what changed with my phone to cause this.  I've spent numerous hours in the developer mode on my phone trying to figure it out.  Come to find out that it has been Fitbit this entire time?!  Not a happy camper right now.  I can't wait to hear what happened.

Well, I did the 'reboot' yesterday. Still didn't work. I love the other functions of the device. Use them every day. Love the colors as well. Still get email notifications, other notifications, but no text messages. I would think it wouldn't be that hard to figure it out. Told them I want a remedy the next time I talk with them or a new device. Surely there's a fix brewing among their software engineers.?

Ye I use the functions also and ye I'm hoping that they fix the problem soon.

Hey I fixed the issue. All notifications are coming thru now. I completely deleted the fitbit app and reinstalled it, not unpair, but UNISTALL the app. It will then prompt you to grant the permissions. Had a friend call and text, everything works now.

Unistall the fitbit app,  not unpair,, but unistall completely then reinstall. Grant permissions and it should work. Did this and now all notifications are coming thru

Just got it to work. I wiped cache and storage on my phone first, then deleted app, then rebooted. And for now it seems to be working again. I had just deleted it and restarted before.
