Versa 3 not syncing to bluetooth

I have had it for 3 years and synced every day for 3 years.  However since wednesday it wont connect to bluetooth at all.  I have spent 2 days doing all of the guidance and nothing works.  I doubt anyone can help as have already tried everything multiple times- just wondering if just me it happened to?

This is exactly what has happened to me too. I have tried all thats recommended to connect my bluetooth and nothing is sorting it. Its when i went my run on thursday and noticed it hadn't went through to my Strava because it wasn't connecting to my GPS. Went to sync my phone and its not happening. Been so frustrated

It's not just you and it is not a problem with your Versa 3. The problem which is affecting many users is with the app on android devices, which seem to have started when the app updated to the latest version, 4.28. Basically they have broken the app and there is no fix available yet.

Yep I'm on android also.  I'll stop trying and give it a week or so and see if they can fix it then!  Wish I wouldn't have done all that stupid troubleshooting stuff now!  They should put an announcement out if it's impacted so many people.

There's a update now but I don't think it's fixed the problem. .so annoying

Facing same issue for the past 2 days. Tried all troubleshooting steps and still no success in connecting with my Android Phone. I did a factory reset as well. But I was able to connect to iPhone. So most likely they broke something on the app.

@Juliabb Yes, one of my phones had an update for fitbit this morning. I tried syncing before and after the update. No joy.

I wonder why fitbit are so silent on matters like this?  Just send the normal trouble shooting things which they must know by now don't work? Guess they don't want customers?

Mine is syncing again. Might have been a temporary issue on their end. At least in my case.

There was an app update on the google store today (version 4.28.1), tried installing it but it has not made any difference to me, it still doesn't work.

Same here, spent a long time trying to fix it, and it's been like this for 3 days now. Disappointed that fitbit didn't let us know anything.

Same story for me Greg2783, I am not sure what to do from this point, even went to the shop where we bought our Versa 3 and Charge 6 and they didn’t advise of any issues. Fitbit/Google have done little to nothing for its owners. I suspect they are trying to push people on to Google hardware, which I now would not touch.

Not much point trying to sync watch until Google/Fitbit pull their fingers out and fix the app. Been waiting for a week now, which is ridiculous.

Tried updating the app to the latest version 4.28.2, but that doesn't work either. I am unable to link my Versa 3 to the app as it cannot find it on bluetooth. So after a week the app is still not fixed. I'm getting fed up with all this nonsense now.
