Versa 3 not working after update

I did the most recent update on my Versa 3. I never had any issues with updates before so I didn't read here first to see if it was OK but it looks like it's cause a lot of problem for others. 

 

My watch isn't showing all the content on the display. There's no time on the home screen. I can't open settings but there are no menu options (though they apparently work if ican guess the correct number down). Weather and tracking are partially visible. 

 

I see people complaining on here but is there any fix? Can I reset the fitbit to factory settings or something like that?

Update - I factory reset my watch and it now works. So that's a possible solution for some to try. 

 

To factory reset - go to settings on your watch. Got to About Versa 3. Touch Factory Reset. Touch Yes. 

 

My settings menu was blank but the lines showed between where the options should have been so I watched a YouTube video and counted down to the correct selections. It's working fine now and is fully updated.

Same issue- I cannot get the Versa 3 toSync. I've followed all the " reset, turn off, reboot, delete app" ideas..... Help!

As a last ditch effort I even let the battery run down to 3%, black screen. Tried to plug it in and connect- nothing but the logo on the screen again. The update killed my Versa?

I've done everything. Uninstalled Fitbit, on and off bluetooth, reset my WiFi modem, on and off the phone everything multiple times!!! Omg I'm going nuts and wasted 2 hours already.

Same exact issues! Yesterday it was missing text, clock not correct, etc…) and today it just keeps restarting over and over again. I’d like to do a factory reset but all the text is missing so I don’t know where to press to make it happen. 🤦🏻‍:female_sign:

I watched a YouTube video to count to the right spots:

 

Go to Settings - bottom right icon on first right swipe screen

 

Go to About Versa 3 - second from bottom option in first Settings menu

 

Go to Factory Reset - bottom selection in the About menu

 

Touch Yes - right, bottom side after Factory Reset. It showed as blue on my screen but there were no words.
