Hello,
I'm seeing the following error message inside of the Fitbit for Android app:"Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker." Even if I perform a restart, the error message persists. The watch is normal mode, not in sleep or airplane mode. Sync with phone is working.
Phone: HONOR magic V3
Thanks!

A warm welcome to the forums @Harryho.
Thank you for taking the time to share this information regarding this difficulty with your device.
I'd like to provide the following steps which are actually very functional for Huawei devices, but they might still work on other Android devices like yours. With that being said, please:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.

Thank you so much, it's working now.
For your information. One more step to go after setting with above steps.
I need to turn off the notification function in Fitbit app and in phone setting then turn on again. The warning message will not show up again. The notification function back to normal.
