Versa 3 splits while running in treadmill

When I run on the treadmill and use treadmill mode I cannot see split times, if I use run mode it does not track the run accurately.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to see splits when running on the treadmill?

You can find more precise details in the Versa 3 manual  but generally like this:

When select treadmill exercise option, look for little arrow at bottom of screen and swipe up from that arrow to see additional options for that exercise selection only (several exercise options have this);  from there I believe an option will be laps; then you can set how to define laps: by time, distance . . .

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @SunsetRunner!  The suggestion given by @JohnnyRow is correct.  But if your Fitbit distance is shorter than your treadmill distance, you might want to keep using the Run shortcut with GPS off.  A moderator explained that the Treadmill shortcut uses your walking stride length in its steps x stride length = distance calculation.  She suggested Run with GPS off to use your running stride length.

Try them both and see which distance is better for you.
