My Fitbit worked fine yesterday and was charging correctly when I went to bed. I pulled it out of the charger this morning and it seems completely dead. Nothing I've tried has worked. Any ideas?

@RiverRunner7 Thanks for the details provided.

As per the description of your post, I suggest trying the following:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your Versa 3 using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

@mramlm Thanks for stopping by and sharing the details about your Versa 3's behavior. I appreciate your time and efforts in trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Fitbit device.

As recommended above, if the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi there, @RiverRunner7. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me which steps you tried so far?

In the meantime, please restart your Versa 3 as instructed here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

If the above doesn't work, please let me know if you feel a vibration while performing the restart.

Thanks! I've tried holding the button down but nothing happens. No vibration. The screen is black and it won't turn on. Is was 23% charged last night when I put it in the charger and 67% charged the last time I checked. Next thing I knew it was off and won't turn on.

Mine is doing the same thing. When I go to restart it, the screen flickers briefly then goes back to black. I have an alarm set for 8am, it vibrated but the screen remained black.
