Versa Bluetooth not working

I normally use my versa to change songs and volume on my phone when working but after the last update i cant get it to work. If i have the versa in pair mode i can connect but as soon as i switch it to no mode (because if you dont manually change it to on it defaults to off) i can no longer connect to my versa. I have a Samsung gs8.

I had that happen as well.   I found that doing the following allowed it to pair, at least until my phone and watch were too far apart.

1. Go to bluetooth settings  on phone

2. Go to "Bluetooth - Manage Connections" under settings on the watch

3. Tap watch to set to 'Pair'.

4. Tap on 'Versa (Classic)' select on phone. (Status on phone shows "Connected")

5. Tap watch twice to get to 'On' setting (at this point "Connected" disappears)

6. Repeat steps 3-5. 

7. Select 'Versa (Classic)' on phone again.  (Phone shows "Connected", watch shows "On".

 

You may need to repeat 3-5 a few times for step 7 to work.

Ya that works for a few hours then it disconnects again and i have to start all over again
