Versa Calls, Messages, Texts not even an option for notifications

My Versa is not even giving me the option to select Messages, Calls, or Text Messages for notifications. I've logged out and restarted my device, tried turning off then on the notifications. All of my notifications for the above are turned to "allow notifications" on my iPhone. What is wrong with this watch???

Did you enable notifications in the Fitbit app? 

Tap the versa on the dashboard. notifications, three dots in the top right. 

 Do you get notifications on the phones lock screen? DND is not enabled? 

Does Fitbit have permissions in the phones OS? 

Have you checked the setup instructions?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I've tried everything you've listed. I've even disconnected and turned everything off and redid the setup - still no notifications.

One thing I noticed is that I'm not getting Fitbit notifications on my phone at all (iPhone 8 plus) even though they are all enabled and therefore Fitbit does not come up under App Notifications.

I posted two links above, one of the links has the settings that need to be checked on the iOS phone, not just the settings in the app. 

If notifications don't show on the lock screen of the phone, they will not be sent to the tracker.

I found a few other options to try in the community such as making sure "show in history" is turned on in notifications. Not sure what of the many, many things I tried did it, but it finally started working.
