Christmas present fit bit versa is not charging. I have tried multiple power ports and through computer with no luck. How can i get the charger to work. This has been the best fitbit i have owned and disappointed that it won't charge

I had no luck with customer support so i went and bought a new charger from JB HI FI. Customer support received a negative review and any further issues and i will be raising the issue of the poorly made chargers. I shouldn't have to purchase a new charger when then first one was only 3 weeks old. Fit Bit has failed this time.

Fitst off try giving your Versa a restart by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo).
Another thing to try would be to give the little gold contacts on both the Versa and the charger a clean. You can do this with a cotton wool swab/Q-tip dipped into a little rubbing alcohol. Obviously make sure the charger is disconnected from the power supply before attempting to clean that.

I tried the reset last night as i saw that was a solution on another post. I cleaned the docking station as suggested but now fitbit has a black screen and won't turn on. App is saying bluetooth isn't connected i tried unpairing and now can't get it bv to pair again.
