Versa Connected GPS not working

Hello

 

I have a Google Pixel 3 XL and a Fitbit Versa Special Ed.

 

I have had my Versa for about 4 months and all of a sudden the connexted GPS is not working.

 

When I got to start a walk for example it says connecting on the top of my Versa and then my phone gets the notification and says GPS is running but it never actually connects on the watch.

 

I have tried rebooting both my phone and my watch and I have checked android battery optimisation and also checked connected GPS was On in the settings for the exercises. 

 

I can't seem to get it to work again. Is there an issue with GPS at the moment?

Okay i fixed it by unpairing the device from my phone and then going into the Fitbit app and deleting the watch and readding it back in and going through the initial setup stuff. GPS is working again yay!
