Have been using Fitbit Pay for weeks. Worked yesterday but today I can't access the function. Holding the left button puts me in 'screen wake and notifications' window. Tried power cycling the watch and update the phone app and sync'ing several times. All other functions/syncs work fine, but the credit card image will not come up. It's like the watch forgot it has the Fitbit Pay ability. Any help appreciated - have become dependent on Fitbit Pay already...

Directed by Fitbit Support to try re-installing the Fitbit app to on my android phone (Samsung S7). I uninstalled the App and re-installed it on the phone. It seemed to remember all the settings and the credit card info when I selected the wallet on the phone. After the access codes/passwords it automatically sync’ed with the watch and now I have the pay image (credit card image) back on the watch.

Not sure what "aspiring to the right" refers to... I've tried swiping my finger in all directions and holding the left button on various screens with no luck in getting the pay to appear. If I go to the wallet, I get the 'To pay, hold left button from any screen...' but I don't get the pay screen their either. It appears to know I have the pay set up but won't go there. The phone knows I have it set up and can show me the information, but the watch can't get there.

It is called not watching autocorrect close enough, it has been corrected.

Swiping to the right after holding the left button puts me in the music section (same group area as noted before). In fact, I don't even see a way to get into these notification, screen wake, and local music screens except with holding the left button - which should, and used to, turn on pay. I looked at all setting options and can't find another way to get these specific screens. Don't know if this is a function of a non-pay Versa.

I have had the same thing happen.
Didn't reinstall, just went to wallet part of phone app.
Checked my security a couple of times then started working. Changed the colour of my card though.

Reinstalling didn't help for me. I finally figured out what the issue was. It was syncing to my ipad and not my phone. If my ipad was in range it wouldn't sync to my phone no matter what. I disabled bluetooth on my ipad and int synced with my phone without issue, and the wallet app began working again. Not sure of the long-term solution for this other than not using the app on my ipad at all, which sucks because I like to sync it when I wake up in the morning to see how my sleep was, and my ipad is always on my night stand.

Yes, but I haven't tried syncing it with my ipad. If I still have trouble, I'll post again. Thanks!

I sync to both my Samsung phone and my HP computer. Both sync without issue, even when they are inches from each other. I'm not around my HP when I use Fitbit pay, so I don't see any conflicting issue.

Fitbit pay is a standalone app and does not need to have the phone nearby to pay for something.
Hello @hitthome, are you saying that your unable to sync the versa's data through the iPad? I'm having trouble understanding what syncing with the iPad has to do with Fitbit pay.

Your describing a limitation of Bluetooth. A Bluetooth device is onlable to talk to one source at a time. This is why a Bluetooth speaker can not play sounds from both the iPad and phone at the same time.
If the Versa is talking to the phone, the iPad will not be able to.
Why won't my Fitbit device sync to another device or computer?

I think I am not explaining it well. Here's the deal. If I sync with my iPad at any point, the pay feature crashes on the fitbit. Even after I have once again sync'd with my android. I have to uninstall the app on my phone, and re-do the credit card setup to get it to work. That's not a function of Bluetooth. It's a design flaw in the fitbit software/firmware. My workaround is to not sync with my tablet anymore, which sucks. If you guys fix it, I would love to be notified. If not, I'm done with this conversation. I don't mean to be rude, but the versa has sucked enough of my time without having drawn out email conversations.
Thanks for your assistance.

When it comes to the Fitbit pay, it is setup using the wallet function in the Fitbit app.
The Fitbit pay app is not needed to have for it pay working and is not used when setting up pay.also removing the app does not remove the Fitbit pay setup.
I have also noticed that when removing the tracker from my account, Fitbit pay still works.
My thought next time ipay stops is to restart or shutdown the versa., Then try again.

Same with me, I think. The days I synced with my iPod Touch in the morning, my card disappeared from my watch that day. Have uninstalled the app on iPod in case it accidentally syncs again. I agree that it's nothing to do with a limitation of bluetooth. Seems more like it can't cope with a mixture of iOS and Android.

I’m having the same issue and Fitbit support are looking in to it after I did extensive troubleshooting (I’m a retired techie so well used to structured investigation).
I was having issues syncing with my Huawei Honor 10 phone (which I fully realise isn’t in the supported list, but the Versa was a gift), so I thought all I had to do was sync each day with my iPad which of course would be 100% compatible. However, doing so erases the card details from the Versa wallet.
As I said, I ran thru a whole lot of troubleshooting steps, factory resetting, keeping Bluetooth - and even the Fitbit app - off on the device that wasn’t being synced to etc etc etc , and proved to Fitbit’s satisfaction that the iPad sync was the culprit. It’s not entirely impossible that the Android syncs and leaves the Versa in a state that the iOS sync finds issue with, but that would be a very long shot in my opinion.
Maybe there aren’t many iOS users using Fitbit Pay, as I suspect they might already be Apple Pay users and don’t want or need a another payment method, even if it is on their Versa.
As and when Fitbit get back to me, I’ll try and remember to reply here.

This is nothing to do with Fitbit Pay not working, but an iPad sync erasing the card from the Versa. It’s a Fitbit, not a bank, issue
