Versa Floor Couting

I've read the page in the help for removing floors by adding a 'Driving' activity...

It's all very well saying that by adding 'driving' all activities (floors & steps) will be negated. However, with the Versa I have walked for 30+ minutes and in that time the Vera has added about 10 floors. I want to remove the floors whilst leaving the steps intact.
I've come to the conclusion that what is happening is that the pressure sensor on the Versa is being affected by wind - it only adds spurious floors when outside ('cos it certainly doesn't manage to always count the floors I've actually 'done')
Without this ability, counting floors is too random to be useful - as things stand floor counting is meaningless

I have floor counting on my Ionic (the first tracker I have had that does count floors, so my only experience) and I must say I rather agree with you. I live in a very windy place and the floor count generally bears no relationship to my ascending either stairs (doesnt happen often) or hills (does happen often, but not the large numbers that it tells me). So I dont find it very helpful and I just tend to ignor it. Not much help to you, but I DO understand what you are saying!
