Versa: Floor-count accuracy concern

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I notice many folks having the same issue with Versa not counting stairs. Versa is counting how high up you go on a staircase (10 feet), not the number of steps in a stair case. It record a 'stair case' as a rise of 10 feet.  Problem is that most staircases do not rise 10 feet, rather, they rise about 8 or 9 feet and therefore are not counted. There are four solutions:

  1. Versa should send out a 'fix' dropping the rise counted as a staircase to 8 feet from 10.
  2. As you reach the top of the stairs, raise your watch hand briefly above your head. This will raise the Versa to 10 feet so the staircase can be counted.
  3. Buy a new house with staircases that all rise at least 10 feet.
  4. Switch brands of watch.
