I’ve had this Fitbit for less then 24 hours. Within the first three hours, mostly while I was sitting trying to figure it out, it counted 1500 steps. At this rate it’s going back unless someone knows a way to fix this issue, but so far I’m not a fan of Fitbit and maybe it’s going back anyway.

@becca596p welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is tracked extra steps, even when you were sitting. I totally understand how frustrating this was for you.
In order to fix this issue, I'd like you to restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your watch internally. After this, monitor your Versa for the next 24 hours and see if it doesn't track extra steps.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Did resetting help your watch?

@Nking162724, thank you for joining us in this thread. If your Versa is experiencing the same issue, I recommend restarting your watch as advised in my previous post. This workaround has been helpful for this type of issues.
Let me know how it goes and I'll be happy to follow up.
