Versa Lite not counting steps correctly

I just purchased the versa lite and it’s counting steps while at my desk, driving and things that don’t include feet movement.   I kept my apple phone today to count steps and the versa is over by 2000 steps. That’s a huge difference.

@Lsok, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa Lite since it's counting extra steps when you are not doing walking activities.

 

Please restart your watch as described in this help article.

 

In addition, check out this help page, which explains how your Versa Lite tracks steps and how you can fix the issue when it picks up steps when you are driving or riding a vehicle.
