Versa Lite screen says “data not cleared sync and try again”

My Versa Lite screen reads “data not cleared sync and try again” with a red X. It reads on the app that it has an update. I have tried to sync and update my device, it started but does not finish before that same message “data not cleared sync and try again” pops up in my Vera lite screen. I have tried unpairing my device from the app and from Bluetooth, turning Bluetooth and my phone off, waiting and adding the device again- nothing has worked. HELP

Hi @sarahE29 Try restarting the Versa Lite several times and dync again. If that doesnt clear the screen, try a Factory Reset and then set up again. If that doesnt clear it you will need to contact Support.

BUTTON FACTORY RESET FOR VERSA 2 AND VERSA LITE
Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.
