Versa Lite screen went blank

Hi. I got a Fitbit versa Lite for Christmas 2019.

 

Last week, it went from working perfectly to suddenly the screen going black but with faint streaks of glowing colour . Vibrations were still happening, and the watch was still synced to my phone, but there was no display on the watch itself. After a few hours of pressing buttons, even the glowing streaks disappeared and now the watch is just off.

 

Please advise - should I still be under warranty? Is there anything I can do?
