I have updated my phones app and also my versa lite, it is still having issues syncing. It will only sync once or twice a day. The time is not accurate, which is the most annoying part.

Seems like this is a common issue. Possibly due to a recent update, if it was presumably working before the update.
In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
