Versa Lite vs Strava distance discrepancy

Hi there,

 

I record my run on both Strava & Fitbit and they both result in different distances, I am assuming that Strava is correct and that Fitbit always reports a shorter distance.  Can anyone help please?

 

I have restarted my device and my fitbit and disconnected Bluetooth as instructed on a different thread from 2018.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

@Jules09 I'm sorry for the late response. However. let me welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the distance discrepancy that your Versa is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying the restart process before contacting our forums.

 

I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved.

 

In the meantime, try revoking access from your Fitbit account. After this, connect Fitbit with Strava again. Also, check out this help article which explains how Fitbit devices track distance.

 

In case the issue persists, please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data and see if the issue gets fixed.
