I'm having a bit of issues with my Versa lately that started about a month ago but have progressively been getting worse. It started with it randomly restarting for no reason. Sometimes it would happen in the middle of a workout which would cause me to lose my data. Sometimes it would happen in the middle of the day with no apparent cause. I only catch it because it vibrates as it restarts. The second issue I am having is the screen is constantly flickering. It's like the backlight portion of the screen where it dims and brightens no matter what sort of light I'm in. I've tested it in direct light and no light to make sure it wasn't trying to auto adjust and nothing changes in terms of the flickering. It's also not the watch face itself because it happens in all of the apps and when swiping as well. I've done the usual restarts and resets and nothing has worked to fix it. Last night I had a new issue where I looked down at my wrist before bed to see the time and the watch was stuck on the Fitbit logo. I wasn't able to force restart or anything as I tried but it just sat there like it had bricked itself. I had to set an alarm on my phone because it was stuck and I feared the watch was a goner. I went to bed with it still stuck on the Fitbit logo and when I woke up this morning at 6am my Versa said it was 5:35am so it appears it was stuck for 25mins and then refused to sync when I have all day sync turned on. My alarm didn't go off as expected and it only caught up time wise once I forced a sync with the app on my phone. Does this mean my Versa is defective or dying? I've only owned it for roughly 6-7 months so I'm a bit concerned about the longevity of this device at this point and wondering if I need to switch out to something else now before it completely dies and I have no warranty left. If it matters I have never worn the watch in water, it's never been dropped or rough handled, and I clean it nightly before I shower.

Hi, sorry to read aboutall of these issues. I have one question: after the factory reset, you say you have performed, did you setup your Versa as being a new device? A factory reset removes all data on the Versa and, as the term says, it acts like it's just have left the factory without being setup ever. Please let me know, cause this makes a difference between trying to solve your problems or calling Customer Support.

I have done that as well and reset up as new to try and solve the flickering screen. The malfunction last night I haven't had a chance yet to try any sort of reset since it happened at bed time and I didn't want to spend time dealing with it. It must have come back on it's own during the night. I haven't done a reset today but I will later. Worried about this leading into bigger issues if it's a hardware failure.
