Versa Misery....

So, I have a Versa and it's the most stress creating piece of technology I have ever seen. To sync this total waste of money is just about impossible. For over a year now, this watch loses sync, every single day, and trying to get it to sync again is as painful as pulling teeth. I have tried over and over and over all the suggestions out there, and nothing works with any consistency. It ALWAYS unsyncs, with no problem, then will not re-sync. We have to try for several days and then suddenly it will sync, last for less than 24 hours, and then will not sync again. Every time it doesn't sync, every day, the time then goes off by one to three hours. Ultimately it is unusable as a watch. The crazy thing is the app, will show the battery as dead and as full when charged so it seems to communicate with the watch, but will not sync. It is a joke and truly a very stressful situation.

hi out of curiosity what phone are you trying to sync with? Are the phone and fitbit up to date with software, it may be a software issue with phone version. Just saying as I have had similar issues with old phones and new bluetooth devices.

Hi Roscored,

I have tried three different models, Galaxy S7, S8 and the S20. Of course all of these are Android which may be the problem. Everything app-wise and phone-wise is updated to the latest versions. It's just a mess. The crazy thing is bluetooth will find all of our phones, the neighbors computer, cars outside, etc etc, but the fitbit sitting right next to us won't be found. Then when it suddenly is found, which is rare, it then will not connect. It's VERY frustrating and just makes no logical sense as to It's inconsistant and nearly impossible sync situation.

Hi Tazzmaniac83 interestingly it doesnt look like you can turn bluetooth on or off unless you are using headphones etc. So assume it is always on, but I wonder if you can add a bluetooth device like a speaker or something to prove that the bluetooth is actually working? No doubt you have tried a hard reset to factory so not sure what to suggest next.
