Fitbit's troubleshooting guide for charging issues is here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1190/

What are you plugging your cable into? Have you tried different USB power sources such as a wall charger you use for your phone?

Is the versa showing any sign when you put it onto the charger?

Fitbit is well aware that they are packaging Versas with faulty charger cradles and instead of just shipping out new ones they prefer to make you jump through a ton of hoops, starting with their troubleshooting measures which will not resolve your issue. My advice is to return it where you bought it and exchange it for a new one and HOPE the new charger cradle works because Customer Service is not helpful, at all.

Honestly, their charger sucks because of how bulky it is. It's a big fail by their design team. I understand your frustration; however, if you don't want to go through the hassle of refund and replacement etc, try this or similar: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B07CQTZ6DK/ref=mw_dp_cr

My cousin and I just happened to be talking and I realized she was having the same issue with her new versa. Being smarter than me though, once I told her her about this forum and the faulty charger cradle what she did was to immediately buy a new charger cradle from Best Buy I think for $20, then she put the original faulty charger cradle in that packaging, returned it to BB and got her money back. Her Versa is now working and charging just fine. She refused to spend another dime on this device after paying $200 for it and I don't blame her. I only wish I'd thought to do that first before spending days upon days going back and forth with customer service.

What was the fit? I just bought a new Fitbit Versa after being frustrated by my last Fitbit and not getting any real help other than Fitbit offering me a discount on a new Fitbit. So I said, screw them all together.

I used to use MIO watches before the advance of technology but I swear MIO at least sold me a real product that worked. Right now, I have the flu but as soon as I'm well it's going back to the store. Fitbit ought to focus on quality gadgets that match their marketing efforts.

Disappointed,

Rhonda

Figured it out. Definitely a crappy charger. My charging base won't charge unless you bend the cord at the tip of it and hold it there or set something heaving on it to keep it bent. I just bought my Fitbit and I already have low faith in the company but hoping I made a good decision. I will definitely return it and maybe get a new one and see if the charging base works. But when too many people are having the same issues and my past experience with customer service I have no faith in the company itself. Maybe I'm better off with a Garmin.

My fitbit Versa won't charge anymore either, and I am not happy.  I just started using my Versa a week ago, and I've only charged it twice.  Tonight would have been charge #3.  The troubleshooting page really doesn't apply (contacts are clean, won't charge regardless of where it's plugged in, it won't power on at all, and the contacts seem to be lining up fine).  I feel like the problem lies with my charging cradle.  I also feel that Fitbit should do the honorable thing and recall all charging cradles from the lots the defective charging cradles were packaged with and replace them free of charge.  I will be calling them tomorrow for assistance, but I am seriously considering taking Fitbit and all back to Walmart.
