I am so angry right now because I have been trying to do the update for literally hours. My Versa WILL NOT connect to WiFi. I look up help topics but when I go to my dashboard I cannot find ANY of the things I am supposed to look for. I cannot find anyplace to add a network. I do not know my security for my network and when I try to find it by doing as instructed, again, the setting is not where it says it is. I have no idea if I am WEP or whatever. I don’t even know what that means. I tried to update my Versa by doing it with Bluetooth and now it has been sitting there for an hour or so with a blue line on the screen. Like I said...... very very very angry now. Is my Versa junk now? I don’t know what to do with it to fix it and I am in tears trying to search and search for an answer.

Over Bluetooth the update took me 2 hours. Bluetooth is very slow compared to WiFi.
WEP is the type of security your WiFi network may or may not have.
I'd stick with the Bluetooth install, it will work - eventually. 🙂

@Ahox Normally wifi is configured the very first time as part of the setup procedure. The wifi info and setup (f.e. if you change network) is on your mobile app, under Versa --> Wifi settings. Here you can add a network, typically this is your home network (your wifi at home). It will also show if you already have setup a wifi network for your tracker, you may recognize it. Maybe you still use it, maybe it is old. Then you can update it. And if there is nothing there, then you can also update it the info here.
Now a few things, hopefully not too technical:
You can update firmware, also via bluetooth, but in reality if you are uncertain about your wifi, then updating firmware should be the last thing to start tinkering with. First get the basics right, then the more complex stuff.

Do you know exactly what you did to get it to find your Wifi? I restarted my phone, the Versa AND the router. My phone and Versa are sitting right next to the router and it still can't find it and when I try to input the name and password it doesn't recognize that either. I am very frustrated at this point. My wifi works b/c my phone and everything else in my house it connected to it. I purchased a subscription to Pandora just for the use with my Versa and it won't connect to download.

Make sure your device is connected to WiFi. This tricked me at first....
