Versa - Splits Have to be Reset Before Each Run

I recently switched the splits on my FitBit Versa's "Run Mode" from 1.0 miles to 0.5 miles.
The data displaying on the app with 0.5 miles splits ended up being less helpful to me than I thought it would, so I set it back to 1.0 miles. But when I went into "Run Mode" for the next day's run, the split was still set a 0.5 miles even though I had changed it back to 1.0 on the watch itself.

Now every time I go into "Run Mode" the split is set at 0.5 miles. I change it to 1.0 miles for that run, but when I go to do my next run, I have to manually change it back to 1.0 miles from 0.5 before I start.

Does anyone know how to get FitBit Versa to retain any setting changes I make?

I'm getting a little frustrated with having to remember to change the splits every day ...

@NCMichelle -

Try making the change in the FitBit app and then sync to the device.

Press on your user icon at the top left of the app.

Press on the Versa Icon.

Scroll down to "Exercise Shortcuts"

Select "Run"

Select "Lap Every"

Select "1.0" - you may have to scroll down after selecting "Lap Every" to see the actual distance selector.

Back up two screens and press "Sync Now".

You should be "Good to Go!"
