Hi, @d.marble, is this the number of steps you did yesterday? Sometimes, if for sime reason your Fitbit does not "see" midnight the steps can be carried over to the next day.
Alternatively, if your Fitbit was near a vibration source over night -- a fan for example -- it can detect these vibrations as false steps.
You should be able to check on your app when these steps were detected and remove them by logging driving. That is the only way of deleting steps. Please follow the instructions carefully and make sure that the time period for the driving log is the same time period that the steps came in, and make sure you search for, and find, the built in "driving" activity and not create your own custom activity. Otherwise it will not work.
Unfortunately if the extra steps were caused by the Fitbit not detecting midnight you cannot remove them by logging driving because there will be no specific time period when they arrived. In that case you should check to make sure that your timezone is correct (it's in the app under "advanced settings") and you should also give your Versa a restart. Restarting will NOT delete the false data, but it should make sure that it does not happen again. Hopefully everything will be back to normal tomorrow.
