 Before i buy yet another tracker to try and get the info i want while swimming...

Can anyone tell me if this can be set to display the number of laps swum WHILE I AM STILL IN THE POOL?
i wear headphones and listen to music while swimming laps. i pretty frequently lose count, and with my current devices, i can't see how many laps i've gone until i get out of the pool and sync the device.

really want something that can tell me a number while i'm still in the pool....is this the magic device for me?

With Versa 1 ot worked.  I could see the number of lanes or switch to show meters, etc. on my watch, during (!)  swimming.

 
With Versa 3 I only see the time and cannot adjust the display while swimming anymore.
 
Is there an update planned? Versa 3 is good watch with nice new functions. But it is also frustrating,  that the newest version has less functions at this point, than the older one.
