I resisted updating my versa firmware seeing how many problems it was causing but I finally did it since if it bricked my versa I wanted to be able to replace it under warranty
no surprise to me now that I have the new firmware and an running the latest version of the android app connection is completely unstable... the versa is basically useless during runs b/c it just keeps saying "connecting" for 95% of the run. I have restarted bluetooth multiple times and restarted the versa
dear fitbit when are you going to fix these issues that have been known for ages? I paid good money for a device that you keep making worse with every "upgrade"

Hi @fueledbycoffee. So sorry to hear about your issues. I’ve asked a moderator to step in to help since I’m not sure what to do. I’ve not had any problems with my firmware updates. You should be getting a response in the next day.
BTW, I like your user name and at times can definitely relate.

Ha I can only laugh b/c otherwise I would cry
I have been dealing with support. I sent them a GPX file from another app to show that the issue is fitbit app software not my phone GPS and they don't know how to open a GPX file.. Support for a company that makes fitness watches with "GPS capability" is unable to open a GPX file. I even told them they could open it in strava or runkeeper.. I told them how to open it and they don't know how to open it..
Anyways I got a "please mark a solution as accepted" email - no.. no there is no good solution b/c support isn't remotely capable to helping b/c they don't even know how to open a GPX file!
