Versa Unstable

Had the Versa Fitbit for less than a year.  I cannot access my Versa to work with any of the settings.  When I bring up my watch to read or interact with the data it flashes on and the goes black.  Right now it shares data with my app, but doesn’t answer to my attempts to use or change any of the apps on it.  It still vibrates to notify me that I’ve reached my goals and time alarms.  But I can’t change the alarms or follow my data while I take my walks.  Any answers on how to remedy this?

Have you tried a factory reset to solve the problem? This is the way to perform a factory reset: Press and hold all three buttons untill Fitbit logo flashes or, if that's not the case, press and hold the buttons for about 15 secs and then release the right lower button. When you feel a strong vibration release the other buttons. If this does not work, repeat the entire procedure several times.

@Fitteraftabit  to me it is not exactly clear what is your problem. You get the data onto the mobile app, so the synchronisations appears fine then. Are you saying that the Versa itself isn't responding when you try to interact with it (by pressing buttons or swiping on the screen). Can you swipe so you get to say the exercise icon and select this? It sounds like not...  If your watch is not responsive I agree with @SunsetRunner that you should really try to give it a hard factory reset first. If that doesn't work and the watch is out of warranty (looks like it), then you might have bad luck as it appears something is broken with the screen?
