Versa Wont Recieve Notifications

Hello! Today I was setting up my new Fitbit Versa and wanted to test the notifications through the watch. After many failed attempts I started looking through and following the forums. I realized when I go to the notifications setting in the app, it does not have the option for me to recieve emails or SMS/text messages. This was a big feature I looked for when shopping around for smart watches and I even payed out of my price range for the versa. I am in college so this option is key to my every day life. I am using and LG G6 and if the answer could be simplified that would be awesome because I am not technologically advanced.

@Gallie8699 I think you might be in the wrong place. Open Fitbit mobile app, tap on Versa icon, scroll down to Notifications.
