Hello,
I recently purchased the Versa and am running into some issues syncing the unit to my PC in order to begin the process of transferring my stored music playlist to the device. My computer is Windows 7, which I understand does not have the necessary version of Bluetooth to make this process work. From reading here and other places, I assumed the solution was the dongle.
However, I just got off the phone with Fitbit support and was told the dongle will not work with my Windows 7 PC and there is no workable solution other than buying a new PC or Mac. Is this true? I have seen the exact opposite mentioned on these forums. I have no problems returning the device if I won't be able to transfer my music, but I want to double check before doing so as I am not sure I fully believe the Fitbit support member.
Thanks!

Hi, what you could try to do is the following (mind that I do not know if it will work on Windows 7):
1. Have BT turned on your Windows PC.
2. Remove the Versa, if it's present.
3. Turn off and on your BT on your PC and set your Versa's BT to pairing.
4. Tell your PC to seek another BT device. If it's good, Windows will find your Versa and on the display of the Versa there will appear either a four digit number, which you have to enter on your PC, or it says that your Versa is connected to the PC.
Thereafter try to sync it again, hope this helps.
