Hi Couple of days back I updated the latest Fitbit OS and from then on my Versa battery is getting drained from 100% to flat within 12 hours. Can you please let me know why this is happening?

I hope they resolve it quickly. Mine lasted only 6 hrs last night. And I was asleep! Got it off full charge at 10.30pm and it only recorded my sleep until 4.30 so must if went flat then. I really like using the alarm on it 😩 now I can’t.

I’m having the same problem. Before I updates to OS3 my Versa battery lasted 3-4 days. Since the update it goes from fully charged to dead in less than 8 hours.
Fitbit please advise when this will be fixed!

Hi, I do not have these problems (Sure, you're not waiting for such an answer, but nevertheless). Charged my battery three days ago and now it says 54%. What's wrong with your Versa's. I'm also on the latest Firmware version and do not have problems at all, not with the Today screen, the battery, third party apps or clock face. Why do I post then here? Just curious what's the difference between my Versa and your Versa's. Of course, only users with these problems post this in this community, but I cannot imagine that an update leads to such major problems, like a battery that normally lasts 5 days, now suddenly almost dies within a few hours. Therefore this post:
1. how do you use your Versa?
2. have you installed a lot of third party apps? Most of them needs permission to stay on the background, using battery power. Certainly now, while some third party apps are not compatible with the newest version
3. Which Clock Face are you using? Etc. etc.
It's not my intention at all to be critical, cause you do not post your problem for nothing, but just to get a clear view what's wrong with users who suffer from these battery problems with the new Firmware. Really hope you understand what my intention is, good luck.
BTW, in order to see what my real intention is, see this: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa/Hassle-free-updating-to-the-latest-Firmware-version/td-p/31340... .

Thanks for such a long message. But I have used Versa with Fitbit’s own clock face, no third party apps and hardly any fitness activities due to holidays. I habe also read a lot of solutions before deciding to post this. Thanks for your advice.

You're very welcome, cause I really do not understand this problem and want to get "a finger behind this" in order to help users with the same problem. Thanks very much for understanding!!

Everything changed after the new update, I did not chage or add anything. I’m use the Versa exactly the same but right after the update the battery is very very bad! Before the update I did not have any kind of problems with my Versa. So, I really hope Fitbit will fix it bcuz otherwise I will be very disappointed!!!

Hi, would it be an idea that users with battery issues not only mention their problem but also the serial number of their Versa? Each and every Versa has it's own serial number. Maybe this makes it possible, also for Fitbit, to pinpoint these battery problems to a certain production line.

Hi kuzibri Thanks for the response and apologise for the late reply. Is it safe to provide the serial numbers on an open forum? I am happy if you think this is not an issue.
Regards
DVRS.

Hi, for me this would be no issue (can say that easily, cause I do not have ptoblems), but if you're afraid regarding your privacy, yo do not have to post it here.
