I had to do a reset on my versa on Sunday because the heart rate stopped working after I had charged it. Doing so made the battery go from 80% down to 22%, no big deal assumed it was from the reset. Charged it again Sunday night put it on Monday and didn't pay much attention to the percentage of battery, get up Tuesday morning and it's dead so I put it on the charger again! I don't put it back on until at 4 pm and looking at the app it died again at 2 am. I put it on the charger this morning around 7 and I'm about to put it on but I don't have much hope of it lasting, I used to be able to go days and now I'm down to hours! And it's not even a year old, I got it Sept of last year! Very frustrated

Welcome to the Community Forums @Jkorbeck and @Oohhhcarol! Thanks for reporting to us about your Versas' battery behavior. Thanks for the steps you've done so far to improve the battery life.
Please note that restarts and firmware updates are demanding on the battery. However, in this case I'd recommend letting your tracker to run out of battery to charge it again. Then, keep an eye on it to see how the battery goes. You can also see: Can I improve my Fitbit device's battery life?
As a side note, we recommend to charge your trackers via the USB port over a wall adapter. However, it is also possible to charge your Fitbit tracker with a UL certified wall adapter. What may actually cause damage to the tracker's battery (either on a computer or a wall adapter) is the charging time, which if excessive over time may damage the battery and therefore cause quick battery drain or prevent the tracker from charging at all.
Tips to best charge Fitbit trackers are:
For charging purposes, your charging cable can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:

Mine just started doing this yesterday. It died during my sleep last night and was at 25% when I went to bed. And just now it literally went from 33% to dead in front of my eyes!
What the heck is going on for all of a sudden our batteries to die so quickly??

This just started happening to my Versa LTE yesterday. I noticed the screen was not coming on. I went and placed it on the charger and it said it was at 48%. I charged it to 99% then put it back on. It worked for a few hours then it happened again. I stuck it on my charger last night while I got read for bed and put it on before I went to bed. It was at 100% when I pulled it off the charger. I got up to go to the gym at 4:30 and it died on me 2 minutes into my workout. I have had it for about a month. I don't wear it in the shower or when swimming. My son has the Versa and it has been great. I am less impressed with mine and this new development. I really loved it before though! Please help!
