Got a Fitbit Versa as a gift in December 2018. Versa died within 7 months after swimming in a pool, even though it was built for tracking laps. Fitbit kindly sent out a replacement device in August 2019.
Now, May 2020 only 9 months after replacing the original and Versa died again.
According to customer service my warranty expired since the original purchase was 2018. A one year warranty from original purchase even though the original had to be replaced in less than a year.
I am extremely disappointed in Fitbit that a $150+ device doesn’t even last one year. I was offered 25% off a new device. With the cost of the two devices, I could buy an Apple Watch. Very disappointed Fitbit!

Hi @Shann22, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa became unresponsive. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup of the original unit.
I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.
