Versa counts too many steps

My Fitbit Versa counts too many steps. My partner has the same model which only counts about half as many steps as mine for the same activity. The distance shown by GPS in the "Track Exercise" part of the App is nearer to her count than to mine.

Hi @dcaddy43 and welcome to the forum! Please try restarting your Versa. Hold and press the button on the left and the bottom, right buttons at the same time until you see the Fitbit logo. Wait a couple minutes, then do it again. Repeat. If you have the Versa Lite, you only have to hold and press the left button. Let us know if that helps.

@dcaddy43 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or it your Versa stopped counting many steps after following the great troubleshooting steps that shared my friend @SunsetRunner.
