Versa cracked screen experience

I have a new Fitbit versa...  I have no idea HOW it happened but the screen is cracked.  I even had a screen protector on it.  No drops or accidents etc.  I contacted Fitbit for a screen replacement, that’s not something they do.  They said it is a known issue with versa and to exchange it where I bought it because it’s a defect.  The retailer said its a known issue with the versa and that they have stopped exchanging and returning them because they are losing money.  I called Fitbit back and told them that and they apologized for that but said they can’t do anything about it and said they don’t warranty the screen even though they KNOW it’s a defect!  They said just go buy another one.  I’m done with Fitbit. Done.

Seriously? I'm beginning to wonder if I should regret buying my Versa. TONS of software issues and I havent even owned it a full 24 hours yet. This is not good to hear...

Fit bit has never repaired any of it devices.

 

The inability to use over a dark tattoo is a known problem.

Really disheartening. I want to love this device but so far it's been nothing but problems. The elevation tracker is annoying. I drive a lot for work and it's told me I've climbed 21 floors so far today without touching a single step. Aside from waking up to see that I took over 500 steps in my sleep...

I’m sorry you’re having issues with yours.  I’m researching other trackers as we speak trying to find a good one with a good company and reputation.
