This is happening every time I track my runs. Fitbit support say their Engineers are working on it but they can’t say when it will be resolved and that I should keep an eye out here on Community for updates.
Anyone hear anything different or have a solution?

@JWRW Have you tried rebooting your Versa several times in a row. Press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until the Fitbit logo flashes. Also, does connected GPS make any difference? If you turn off the GPS is your Versa still experiencing problems?

Thanks M. Yes I’ve tried the reboot option. Will try turning off the GPS and see if that makes a difference...
Will come back here with an update then.

@JWRW I'm glad. There might be some hiccup when Versa is trying to connect to your phone GPS. Depending on how important that feature is to you, you can attempt resetting Versa to factory defaults to see if that resolves the issue. Factory reset will wipe all the data from your tracker though, so you need to make sure you sync before performing it. You would also need to remove Versa from your Fitbit account (in your Fitbit mobile app) and from Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can access Factory Reset from Settings app on your Versa, just scroll down to About. After factory reset Versa will display its standard Welcome Setup screen and you will have to add it as a new device in your Fitbit mobile app. If you don't mind GPS and everything else is working as it should, I would not touch it. 😊
