Versa custom stride length not working

Two days ago I set my custom stride length as the default seemed to be too short. The numbers still don't add up, when I divide distance by steps taken the stride length is shorter than what I set. I've rebooted both fitbit and phone several times but no joy. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

@Anjarap Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! This is odd. Have you entered values for walking and running? Or only for one of them? This could have affected the distance calculation. Still you can also try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Make the changes again (if the appear as saved then change the values to something else, save, then go back to the correct values and save again). If the issue persist try changing the values through the website.
