My versa kept saying to unlock with phone every time I tried to use it. I didn’t know how to stop this from happening as my phone was open and working fine and the app was still syncing my versa. So I tried to restart the versa which didn’t work, so I deleted to device from my account in order to try and re connect it. However, now the message to unlock with phone is still appearing but the device is deleted from my account so I can’t do anything about it. How do I resolve this and reconnect my device?

Hi @Sammy382 Try a factory reset using the buttons. This usually seems to resolve this problem. As far as the constant message about unlock, I am wondering if your phone is on the Supported Devices List? It sounds as if it might be not quite compatable. Please come back with how you went.

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

I have an iPhone 8 and my watch has been working perfectly for the past two months. It seems I had accidentally put the wrong passcode in more then ten times which disabled my watch. However, before realising this was the issue I had already deleted the device from my account to try and reconnect it in hope this would make the message go away. As the watch is still disabled I can not reconnect it to my phone as the four digits will not show for me to do so.

I’ve performed the rest set procedure more then a handful of times, this does not work. It goes back to my clock face and back to the message displaying when trying to use.
