My wife was updating her versa and now it is stuck on the boot logo and won't do anything.
All I have found is instructions to hold all 3 buttons for 6 seconds then let go of the bottom right and hold for another 20 seconds.
But that has not worked

I appreciate you share your experience. I'd recommend you follow these steps to restart your device.
Also you can try to change your clock face, if this fixes the issue, you can change it back to the original clock face. If you are using a third-party clock face, please switch to a Fitbit clock face and try the troubleshooting again.

Had that happen to me, after going through airport security. I had to replace mine, since it was out of warranty. Good luck to you.
