Was working fine this morning. All of a sudden it went black. I put it on charger. After an hour I checked it. It was very hot, but would not light up. I did feel the vibration for the hourly steps reminder. I have tried the back and bottom buttons, Nothing.
Would a factory reset help?

Hi @KathyP4233, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for your post and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? Did you feel another vibration when you started charging it or nothing at all? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation
Looking forward to your reply.

The watch does have the green sensor flashing. It does not vibrate when I begin charging it and it gets warmer than normal while charging.
At 10:50 this morning, I picked it up (watch in the charging station) and it vibrated. This would have been my normal notification on my steps for the hour. When I hold in the back and bottom button, I get absolutely nothing. I have even tried just the back bottom and get nothing.
Revision at 12:36 - i did some more testing and it does vibrate when i pick it up to take out of charger and when i put it back in. I opened the Fitbit app on my phone and it is syncing. It is showing 92 steps for today from when I wore it for a few minutes earlier. It is also showing 65% battery right now.
Thanks

Your reply is appreciated @KathyP4233.
Thanks for the details that were shared with me and for taking into consideration the troubleshooting steps that were shared on my previous post. It seems that your Versa's display is not working as it should rather than the battery itself, that being said, please follow the next troubleshooting steps to perform a factory reset and let me known if the issue persists:
Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I seem to be having the same problem. My screen reads”X data not cleared Sync & try again. I’ve done this repeatedly, no help.
